Strip-Out and Haul-Off, One Crew

Demolition and disposal are the same visit

Interior demolition leaves a room full of broken cabinetry, tile, and drywall — material a remodeler will not take and a trash service will not collect. We do both halves. The crew that pulls the kitchen apart is the crew that loads it into the truck and takes it away.

That matters most when a contractor is waiting on the space. A room that is torn out but not cleared is not a room anyone can work in.

Tell us what is coming out and we will come look at it. The quote is free, it is given on site, and it is the price you pay for everything quoted.

Kitchen Demolition

Kitchen demolition in Austin, TX

A kitchen tear-out is mostly heavy, awkward objects with plumbing and power still attached. Tell us how far you want it taken and we will quote that.

Cabinets and islands

Upper and lower cabinets, pantry units, and islands pulled off the wall and floor and carried out.

Counters and backsplash

Laminate, tile, granite, and quartz counters removed along with the backsplash behind them.

Appliances

Range, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave disconnected and hauled off with the rest of the job.

Flooring

Tile, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood taken up, including underlayment where it comes with it.

Non-structural walls

A partition wall or a peninsula can come out as part of the job. Anything load-bearing is a structural question and we will say so on site rather than guess.

Debris leaves with us

Everything we take out goes in the truck. The room is swept before we go.

Bathroom Demolition

Bathroom demolition in Austin, TX

Small rooms, heavy pieces, and tight doorways. A cast iron tub is one job to cut loose and another to carry out past a door frame.

Tubs and shower surrounds

Cast iron tubs, fibreglass units, and tiled surrounds cut down where they have to be to get through the door.

Vanities and toilets

Vanity, top, mirror, and toilet disconnected and removed.

Tile and backer board

Wall and floor tile taken off along with the board behind it, down to the studs or subfloor if that is what you need.

Flooring and trim

Floor covering, baseboard, and door casing where they are part of the tear-out.

Protection on the way out

The path from the bathroom to the truck gets covered before anything heavy moves along it.

Debris leaves with us

Tile and plaster are heavy and sharp. They go in the truck as the work goes, not into a pile in your hallway.

What Changes the Price

What we look at when we quote an interior tear-out

How much is coming out

A single vanity and a whole kitchen are different jobs, and the difference between them is mostly volume.

What it is made of

Cast iron, stone counters, and mortar-bed tile weigh several times what the same volume of cabinetry does, and disposal is charged by weight.

How far it has to travel

A ground-floor kitchen beside a driveway is a shorter carry than a second-floor bathroom at the end of a hallway.

How far down you want to go

Taking a room back to the studs and subfloor is more work than removing the fixtures. Tell us which one you want.

We do not price interior demolition over the phone, because none of the four things above can be seen from one. The on-site quote is free and there is no obligation.

FAQs

Interior demolition frequently asked questions

How much does interior demolition cost in Austin?

There is no fixed price. It depends on how much is coming out, what it is made of, how far it has to be carried, and how far down you want the room taken. Call (512) 522-3569 or request a free on-site quote online.

Do you take the debris away, or do I need a dumpster?

We take it. Demolition and haul-off are the same visit, and the price we quote covers both. If you would rather load at your own pace, we also arrange dumpster rental, which is subcontracted.

Can you remove a wall?

Non-structural walls, yes. Whether a particular wall is load-bearing is not something we will guess at from a photo — we will look at it on site and tell you what we see. If it is structural, that is a job for a contractor and an engineer, and we will say so.

Do you disconnect plumbing and electrical?

We disconnect fixtures so they can come out. Capping a line, moving one, or any new work belongs to a plumber or an electrician holding the license for that trade. We will tell you when something needs one rather than do it ourselves.

Is a permit required for interior demolition?

It depends on the city and on what is being removed. The rules differ from one city to the next, so the permit office for the city the property sits in is the place to ask about a specific job before work starts. Published thresholds and contacts are collected in demolition permits in Central Texas, city by city, dated.

How much notice do you need?

Same-day service is available most days for customers who call or text before noon. For a larger tear-out it is worth booking the on-site quote a few days ahead so the crew and the truck are set aside for you.
