Junk Removal in Manor, TX
Travis County. The items Manor turns away at the curb are the ones we are called for.
Manor refuses two whole categories at the curb
Manor changed solid-waste providers at the start of 2025, and the collection guidelines the city publishes are unusually specific about what will be left behind. Two categories are refused outright rather than limited: electronics, televisions and computers, and anything in the construction-debris or hazardous bracket. A third is conditional — a refrigerator or an air-conditioning unit is taken only with its doors removed and only if it is, in the city's own words, technician-certified freon-free.
That last condition is the one people discover on collection day. Proof has to exist before the unit goes out, and arranging it is the resident's problem, not the contractor's. We take the unit away instead, and the electronics the city will not touch go in the same load.
What the City of Manor publishes
Read from the city's own pages on the date shown. Manor does not publish a bulk collection frequency, so this table does not state one.
| What | The rule as published | Authority |
|---|---|---|
| Who collects | 'Frontier Waste Solutions is proud to announce that they will be the new solid waste and recycling service provider for the City of Manor effective January 1, 2025.' | City of Manor, read 2026-10-04 |
| Accepted at the curb | Air conditioner units and appliances, bundled branches, cardboard boxes, chairs, recliners and couches, extra bags of leaves, large furniture and mattresses, water heaters. | City of Manor, read 2026-10-04 |
| Refrigerant units | 'Refrigerators must have their doors removed. Both refrigerators and air conditioner units must be technician-certified freon-free.' | City of Manor, read 2026-10-04 |

What we could not read for Manor
Manor publishes no bulk collection frequency on either page read, so none is stated here. Nor was a published accessory-structure threshold, a residential demolition rule, or a resident drop-off site found on the city's site. City of Manor Development Services is the authority for the first two.
